What We Need from You

As an NDIS and aged care worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being and independence of our clients. Here’s what we are looking for in our team members:

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Relevant Qualifications: Certification or diploma in aged care, disability support, community services, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in NDIS services or aged care is highly desirable. Understanding the unique needs of clients and experience in providing personalized care is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
  • Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a compassionate approach to care. Patience and understanding are key traits we value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal Care: Assisting clients with daily personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while ensuring their dignity and comfort.
  • Support and Independence: Helping clients with mobility, daily living activities, and encouraging their independence.
  • Health Monitoring: Monitoring and recording clients’ health and well-being, and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Meal Preparation: Assisting with meal planning, preparation, and feeding, ensuring clients receive nutritious and balanced meals.
  • Household Tasks: Helping with household chores, such as cleaning, laundry, and basic home maintenance.
  • Social Engagement: Facilitating social activities and community involvement to promote clients’ social connections and emotional well-being.

  • Reliability and Punctuality: Dependable and able to maintain a consistent schedule to provide reliable care for our clients.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing needs and situations, and willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.

  • Respect and Professionalism: Demonstrating respect, professionalism, and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
